LOGO CONTEST
Thank you to everyone who entered the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival 1st annual logo contest. The talent and creativity of all those who entered, made our decisions very difficult for us to choose. But after much deliberation, we've made our selection.
Congratulations to all the winners! Yes, we said winners! And we given the reasons why they were chosen.
Kevin Tucker-This entry was a no fuss approach. Simple, concise, and easy to read at a glance. Kevin also made it possible to alter the logo slightly to distinguish between the conference track of the Gideon and the Film Festival events. This will be used as a letterhead, hopefully on t-shirts for Gideon 2010 and used as Rodney's profile pic for facebook, twitter, etc. At times this logo will be used in cross-promotions with the 168 Film Project and the Biola Media Conference.

Terenia Autrey-Terenia's was bold in color and depicted all the elements of our Gideon tracks. Although it will be hard to tell as Lori uses this for her facebook, twitter, etc. pics, this entry shows Gideon going into battle as well as the symbols for theater, film, music, writing, etc. But one will appreciate all of these elements when this is used as our program book cover as well as the cross-promotions mentioned above.

Analicia Davis-Analicia was an intern in 2008, a Captain to assist the directors of the intern program in 2009, and has now had her logo chosen for all intern correspondence for Gideon 2010. She was clever in how she used each letter in the name Gideon to depict all the arts/tracks that will be offered next year.

Kevin, Terenia and Analicia will have their conference fees waived as they attend the Gideon Media Arts Conference & Film Festival for 2010. Over a $300 value! Congratulations again to these three! As soon as we get all the images in a jpg format, we'll post them on the website.
We hope to have this contest annually, so start thinking about a logo for Gideon 2011...
